Amulet Heads to New York Hacker House

Amulet Protocol launched the MainNet on the Solana blockchain at the end of September 2022. The first web3 cover protocol built on and backed by the Solana ecosystem has since sold 1930+ covers and protected thousands of dollars worth of digital assets.

It’s been an incredible journey so far. After attending Solana Breakpoint in November and the subsequent events that followed after the FTX collapse, events became less of a priority for our marketing and project activity in 2023.

While we continue into a bear market, especially with further turbulence entering the industry in recent days (June 2023), Amulet will continue to ride with Solana and team members flew over to New York to attend a 5 day Hacker House.

We also took the opportunity to attend other relevant side events with relevance within technology, blockchain, crypto, AI and insurance.

The next couple of weeks are really exciting for Amulet. We’re preparing for our new product launch (which was demo’d privately to an audience at New York HackerHouse by Rupert!), we’re updating our roadmap (lots of things have changed since January!), we’ve launched our ambassador program and we’re close to upgrading the AmuNation experience for our loyal community.

Heading to New York was the catalyst for the explosive summer we have planned for Amulet and our risk protection protocol.

What is Hacker House?

Solana hosts Hacker Houses for their global community in major cities across the globe. An opportunity for all those who continue to ride with Solana to meet up, collaborate, ideate and learn.

Rupert (Project Lead) and Jimmy (Product) attended the Hacker House in New York which was full of informative educational programming based upon the Solana ecosystem, DeFi and NFTs. There were workshops and panels from different protocols all bullish on Solana.

It was great for Amulet as representatives from several of our partners attended (including FYEO which we announced last week) and also conversations continued about potential partnerships to be announced in the near future.

We were also able to get advice and assistance from Solana engineers and our days were filled with education and learning while promoting the necessity for web3 cover and Amulet.

Although this event was intimate and not Amulet focused, we don’t have any official imagery or videos from the 5 days. We do, however, have a few “sneaky pics” that Ru managed to take and also a few of him rocking the Amulet logo through the streets of NY!
