Amulet’s Token2049 Recap Blog

Amulet have had another incredibly busy and exciting week. Last week, the FULL team gathered together in Singapore to attend Token 2049. One of the biggest crypto events, bringing together the leading voices in web3.

The week was EPIC and so much went on that we decided to give you a recap blog:

Amulet Launch Party + MainNet Launch

Token2049 seemed the perfect time to launch our MainNet. Knowing the biggest names in our industry, along with our investors, connections and other innovators, it was logical to create something spectacular to showcase Amulet and our simple, reliable web3 cover.

On Tuesday 27th September, we took over the Lantern Bar in Marina Bay Sands and invited our exclusive guests to celebrate the last 10 months of diligence and dedication.

Check out our official video here:

The main purpose of this event was to network and showcase Amulet while celebrating our launch onto the MainNet.

As planned, we launched on the MainNet on September 29th. Access it here: app.amulet.org

Learning and Innovating as a team:

With the whole team together for once, we took an opportunity to learn about risk and protection. Led by our Project Lead, we spent hours during the week, learning, collaborating and improving our knowledge. It was also a valuable time for 1 on 1 sessions with all team members. Being a remote team, these moments can be extremely valuable.

Token 2049 itself!

We actually decided to become Silver Sponsors for the main conference. This allowed us to get our name out to as many people as possible. On Day 2, Rupert also took part in a talk named “I love Hacks” which was interactive and saw contributions from a variety of people.

We were able to connect directly with some of the biggest names in crypto and we pitched Amulet while also speaking to various delegates about potential collaborations and things we could do together.

This was extremely important for our mission of mass adoption of web3.

WSeries Sponsorship:

Token2049 also coincided with the Singapore Grand Prix. This meant that there was a golden opportunity for Amulet to get involved in some traditional marketing efforts.

We sponsored Jenner Racing cars throughout the big weekend. The team, owned by Caitlyn Jenner, comprised of upcoming driver Chloe Chambers and WSeries racing legend Jamie Chadwick.

Caitlyn retweeted us twice and did her own tweet to over 3.4 million followers. We hoped that Jamie Chadwick woudl’ve won the series in the car but due to tough conditions, she unfortunately crashed out. We were still incredibly proud and we will be supporting her in the final races. Our logo also appeared on Sky Sports News as well as on their app.
