Amulet Protocol and Kudelski Security announce new strategic relationship to tighten security within web3

Protecting assets has existed since before records began. As long as items or possessions have existed, there has also been the need to ensure that they are safe. Now, two companies with a heavy focus on security have confirmed their official partnership, Amulet Protocol and Kudelski Security.

Designed during the DeFi boom of 2020, Amulet has been observing the various hacks and exploits over recent months and years and decided to take significant action with their project launch. Due to launch in September on the Solana blockchain, Amulet Protocol offers simple and reliable cover for everyone within web3.

Amulet will initially provide smart contract vulnerability and stablecoin depeg cover to protect users that hold crypto assets within specific protocols. Due to the innovation and power of Rust-based ecosystems, Amulet will move towards providing protection options for NFTs, GameFi and across the Metaverse.

Kudelski Security is a leading cybersecurity company with one major goal – to disrupt the cybersecurity status quo. Experts within the field, Kudelski provides support enhancements towards cyber confidence, threat resilience and data protection.

As a result of this relationship, Kudelski has already started advising Amulet and are working behind the scenes to ensure that Amulet’s product security is market ready and robust. Kudelski Security and Amulet are working together right now on auditing the smart contracts. Work will continue over the coming months and years to ensure that protection is at the forefront and any potential exploiters are deterred.

Kudelski Security understand the power of blockchain technology and have spent the last few years becoming experts within this industry. The cybersecurity giants maintain over 400 technical, product and security industry certifications and are one of the most trusted firms within the space.

“This partnership is incredibly important and exciting for the Amulet team. As we assess our options pre-launch, we understand how significant it is to have a powerful, exploit-deterring and trusting product. Kudelski Security is a company that we know very well, and we’ve developed an element of trust built on their passion towards protecting assets and users. We love working with anyone who wants to destroy malicious attacks as much as we do!” Rupert Barksfield, Project Lead, Amulet Protocol

About Amulet:

Amulet is a decentralized cover protocol built for the Rust-based ecosystem, starting with the Solana blockchain. Amulet has designed an innovative and open cover protection model, which not only effectively addresses the common challenges of existing decentralized cover protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the whole insurance sector.

Amulet is creating the industry’s first Protocol-Controlled Underwriting (PCU) approach, in which Amulet will build up its own underwriting capabilities and introduce a claim structure involving a unique Yield Backed Claim (YBC) method. This is a significant deviation from the incumbent cover models of renting underwriting capability from capital providers to a more sustainable underwriting and claim structure controlled by the protocol. The vision of Amulet is to offer simple, reliable cover for everyone in Web3. With the addition of Amulet, users in the entire Rust-based ecosystem will gain access to a new way to hedge various risks with protection product offerings.
